Recently playing in MPLS, Ra Ra Riot is an indie rock band that infuses strings and falsetto vocals into a routine that would be same-old same-old.
They played immaculately live, and they hung around afterward which was a really awesome opportunity to meet them.

Their latest LP, The Orchard was a departure from their more straightforward full-length The Rhumb Line and even more so from their earlier EPs.
They're a relatively big name in the modern indie rock scene so I'm sure I needn't recommend them anymore than I already have, but, check them out. For fans of Vampire Weekend & Discovery.
